Description
The Mini Conical Single Screw Extruder is purpose-built for plastic recycling in compact spaces, combining performance, versatility, and efficiency. Designed for laboratories, universities, and small-scale production environments, it supports a wide range of materials, including PET, LDPE, PP, PLA, Nylon, and other common thermoplastics.
Its conical screw design ensures excellent material intake — especially for low-density recycled plastics — while preventing bridging and clogging at the feed zone. The high channel depth improves feeding capacity, making it ideal for fluffy or bulky recycled materials.
Two screw configurations are available:

Low-Shear Screw — for heat-sensitive materials, reducing thermal degradation.

High-Shear Screw — for blends and composites requiring intensive mixing and homogenisation.
For vented single screw extruder versions, the design includes a vacuum vent for volatile removal and moisture elimination during processing, ensuring higher-quality end products.
This mini extruder is compact, cost-effective, and energy-efficient, making it an excellent choice for R&D trials, material testing, and small-batch recycling without high operating costs.
